The Mission Statement of CuraConnect GbR

The following mission statement shall serve as the foundation for fair and ethically responsible practices in the international recruitment, placement, and employment of international personnel intended for deployment in the German healthcare system. CuraConnect will adhere to this foundation and ensures that all its business partners follow this foundation. We set a clear commitment to the "Employer pays" principle, meaning that no placement fees are charged to the nursing professionals.

The mission statement is fundamentally based on the recognition of the WHO Code of Conduct (Ethical Recruitment) for the international recruitment of healthcare professionals, which – in addition to compliance with the international human rights convention – represents the supreme guideline for cooperation between business partners. In particular, it serves to protect the individual's right to migrate, and is based on the understanding that the legitimate interests and responsibilities of healthcare professionals, countries of origin, and employers in the destination country cannot conflict with one another.

CuraConnect and its business partners voluntarily commit to compliance with the ILO core labor standards , in particular the general principles and operational guidelines for fair recruitment of the ILO, as well as the IRIS standards of the International Organization for Migration .

The CuraConnect team aligns its daily actions with the shared mission:

"CuraConnect supports international nursing professionals from recruitment, throughout the entire German training period, and well beyond the start of employment, thereby creating the conditions for a successful new life in Germany. In close cooperation with our clients, we ensure fair working conditions that comply with international standards, which are continuously monitored by us."

For this goal, we are on a shared mission. Our values and behavior provide us with the framework for a commitment to fair and ethically responsible recruitment and placement practices, taking into account the United Nations Human Rights Convention.

The Mission

We want to provide our international nursing professionals with a new, secure future. We make our clients' human resources more plannable and flexible. This makes them more independent and capable. As partners, we work together with institutions to develop innovative personnel solutions. To do this credibly, we must align our actions accordingly and live flexibility. As a family-run personnel service provider, unity is our strength.

We will be successful and achieve our shared goals when all employees act as a team and everyone is ready to be there for each other when needed. Every day, our employees are on the front lines, staying close to the nursing professionals and clients. Our headquarters and branches work as a unified entity to organize work processes efficiently. Placing nursing professionals means for us improving every day, optimizing processes, and handling orders quickly and competently.

Our Values

We are aware of our responsibility toward the nursing professionals we place, our clients, our employees, and economic development. We fulfill this responsibility and rely on our values:

  • Integration awareness: Integration is the most important factor for the well-being of our international nursing professionals. We support our nursing professionals in their integration from recruitment through well beyond the start of employment in Germany.
  • Honesty: We are always honest with our clients, colleagues, and employees.
  • Transparency: We say what we think! And we think what we say.
  • Trust and Respect: We treat our surroundings the way we want to be treated ourselves – whether management or auxiliary worker.
  • Humanity: We act so that people and respect for human dignity are at the center of our work.
  • Responsibility: We are aware that our thinking and actions can impact our nursing professionals, our clients, and our company.
  • Tolerance: Everyone makes mistakes.
  • Cheerfulness: Laughing together clears the mind and makes work easier.

The Conduct

In our actions, we are guided by the following behaviors (in accordance with the ILO core labor standards and IRIS standards):

  • Employee orientation: Our placed nursing staff deserves our highest respect and our full support in all areas of life.
  • Client orientation: We align our activities with the needs of our clients.
  • Cooperation: We actively communicate with our nursing professionals and with our clients to ensure optimal cooperation.
  • Willingness to change: Nothing is more constant than change, and therefore we adapt our behavior and processes to ensure fair and humane treatment of our nursing professionals and our clients.
  • Commitment to performance: Each of us is prepared to learn every day and thus implement fair and ethically responsible recruitment and placement practices.
