Applicants

Many international nursing professionals lack professional and personal prospects in their home country. By placing them with an employer in Germany, we create the foundation for satisfying work and life. We provide fair and transparent placement – wage dumping or indebtedness of nursing professionals is avoided. The countries of origin benefit from legal migration processes, the local labor market is relieved, and remittances from migrants support families and promote development impulses in the countries of origin.

What does the placement process with German employers look like?

We submit the anonymized written application of selected candidates with consent for carrying out the recognition procedure as a health and nursing professional to the future employer. To get an impression of the new employer or to assess the suitability of the nursing professionals for the position to be filled, Skype interviews are conducted. If both employer and employee agree, the applicant receives an employment contract with which the labor market authorization is applied for.

How long is my residence permit valid?

The nursing professional receives a residence permit that is tied to the employer and the labor market authorization and is valid for one year. A long-term or unlimited stay is possible. The basis for extending the residence permit is the successful completion of the recognition procedure in the meantime and a valid employment contract with corresponding collective agreement classification as a skilled professional. After five years, permanent settlement in Germany can be applied for (permanent residence).

Can I bring my family to Germany?

Family reunification is generally possible if the requirements, such as sufficient income and living space, are met. The decision is made by the responsible foreigners' authority.
